Eric van Eerdenburg wint European Festival Award 2023

De winnaars van de European Festival Awards 2023 zijn bekend.

Op Eurosonic Noorderslag werden de awards dit jaar voor de dertiende keer uitgereikt. Lowlands-directeur Eric van Eerdenburg won de ‘Award for Excellence & Passion'

De European Festival Awards bestaan in totaal uit 16 categorieën. De meest prestigieuze hiervan zijn ‘Best Major Festival’ en ‘Line-up of the Year’. Vorig jaar won het Deense Roskilde de prijs voor het beste grote festival. Best Kept Secret was het beste middelgrote evenement, en Roadburn het beste kleine.

  • Best Medium-Sized Festival: Pohoda Festival (Slowakije)
  • Best Small Festival: Maifeld Derby (Duitsland)
  • Line-up of the Year: Glastonbury (Engeland)
  • Newcomer of the Year: Balming Tiger (Zuid-Korea)
  • Promoter of the Year: Alter Art (Polen)
  • Agent of the Year: Tom Schroeder, Wasserman Music
  • Award for Excellence & Passion: Eric van Eerdenburg, Lowlands
  • Green Operations Award: Boom Festival (Portugal)
  • Event Safety Award: OpenAir St\.Gallen (Zwitserland)
  • Take a Stand Award: Sziget Festival (Hongarije)
  • Brand Activation Award: Heroes & Hype Festivals & Unilever Axe
  • Lifetime Achievement Award: Ruud Berends
