Since 2001, Motel Mozaïque (MOMO) has been a space for connection between artists, audiences, venues, and ideas. We’re an ever-moving mosaic of people, music, art, and culture, shaped by values of equality, empathy, and curiosity. We create connections between artists and audiences, open doors to hidden locations, and offer both locals and visitors a fresh perspective on Rotterdam. Motel Mozaïque is a non-profit cultural foundation with three main branches: MOMO Festival, our three-day city-wide celebration of music and the arts; MOMO Concerts, an ongoing concert series throughout Rotterdam; and MOMO Create, our platform for talent development. Across these activities, we produce and present contemporary voices and stories that spark inspiration and bring people closer together.

About the role

We are looking for a Digital Marketeer to join our marketing team in the lead-up to MOMO Festival 2027. As Digital Marketeer, you help grow and engage the audience of MOMO. Through digital campaigns, newsletters, website and app management, and audience insights, you help ensure that the right content and stories reach the right people at the right time.

You enjoy combining creativity with data, are curious about audience behaviour and know how to translate insights into meaningful results. Working closely with the (marketing) team and partners, you contribute to the visibility, reach and impact of MOMO Festival 2027.

Who are we looking for?

You are organised, analytical and curious, with an affinity for music, art and culture. You enjoy working with data and digital tools, but also understand the importance of storytelling.

You are someone who:

  • Has a good understanding of audience journeys, conversion and online engagement;
  • Has a strong pen and enjoys writing audience-focused content;
  • Has experience with digital marketing, email marketing and online campaigns;
  • Is comfortable working with tools such as Google Analytics/Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and CRM and CMS systems;
  • Is organised and enjoys managing multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Is flexible and comfortable working in a fast-moving festival environment;
  • Speaks and writes English fluently (Dutch is a plus, but not required).

Most importantly: you are curious, enthusiastic and excited about what MOMO stands for.

  • A fair compensation in line with the guidelines of the Dutch live music and festivals association (VNPF, scale 6, for freelance position we count with 150% of the fee in the CAO);
